Another head scratcher in Louisville area??? According to Frakes, Louisville Holy Cross has not renewed the contract of Copass. I follow Butler...but always thought that HC did pretty good with limited numbers and talent?

She is staying on as Teacher/AD.

Actually.. The middle school player had played for an AAU program affiliated with a Louisville private school PRIOR to attending CAL. Relationship already existed; however, IMO, their dealings with Costner did not encourage her to remain at CAL for HS. Also, other MS players left for other high schools which may have prompted the decision.

With the firing of the Courier-Journal 7th region Coach of the Year, who is in line to get the Christian Academy job? Will big name coaches tread lightly considering how the last 2 coaches were ousted? They had 2 guys that were assistant coaches. One was a heavy set guy from ???...the other was a former assistant from Iroquois. Any word on this job?

 

The former AD at CAL moved up to an admin position after hiring coach Costner. Perhaps the new AD wants to hire one of "his" coaches. Haven't heard any rumors regarding this.

Suffice it to say that the goings on in Jefferson county are not squeaky clean. It's pretty amazing, and certainly in an un-pretty and shadowy way.

Have heard about a Barry White mentioned for CAL job. Anyone know who that is and any background? This is all I come up with when I google it.

Augusta job has been filled. They stayed in-house and have chosen Terry Bray to take over the program.

Terry Bray is a great guy, he was previously the head coach at Silver Grove.
