Stevens is the name that every IU fan I know brings up, and they just won't listen when I tell them he ain't leaving the Celtics for IU.

These were my exact feelings when Billy Gillispie was on the chopping block at UK.

People, mainly UK fans, were hot on Travis Ford at the time and I have no idea why.

You don't fire the guy unless you have a homerun hire lined up. You don't fire him for an unknown.

He's a "used car salesman" type. Think Hoosier fans would take to him? Of course when Calipari was hired in Lexington I did not think BBN would embrace him as they have. Winning makes you overlook a lot of defects.

Maybe they could kind of stroll down memory lane and hire a guy like Frank Martin from USoCar? He could toss a chair or two and dish out verbal abuse. Why, it would be like the old days!!

Saw something last night that his buyout drops significantly, this year, if he were to get another coaching job. I think he'd be likely to find another school that'd want him, wouldn't you?

I heard on the College Sports Channel (not sure if that is it's name or not) Sirius channel 91 and expert on there said that Crean was interested in the Alabama job that was somewhat of a shock to me (if true) one thing I doubt Alabama would pay him what he is going to make at Indiana next season. What would 'Bama have to pay IU in terms of a buyout? Or would the Hoosiers say, "No thanks, this one's on us," and waive the buyout?

I wonder why Coach Neubauer from Eastern is not mentioned for jobs. I feel he does an excellent job.

Speaking of Tom Crean, me and a buddy had lunch at Cheapside yesterday sitting next to a guy who we swore looked like Crean's older brother. Picture Crean with 5 years on him, and with thinning, wavy, longish dirty blonde hair.
