March 8, 201511 yr Illinois St. is currently leading Northern Iowa 21-8 with halfway through the first half. If they go on and win that is going to make the Missouri Valley a team league which is not good for bubble teams. If Indy doesn't win their first game in the Big 10 tourney I think it will be hard to get in.
March 8, 201511 yr IU has to win at least one game in the Big10 Tourney and even then a few conf upsets could eliminate some slots for them to fall into. IU needs 2 wins IMO to me safe.

March 11, 201511 yr That's not true. Seems like has done alright in Indiana. Zeller and Yogi come to mind. #30 from Cathedral whose name escapes me. Sure you'll lose some but Indiana puts out A LOT of talent.

March 11, 201511 yr Blackmon is from Indiana as well. Recruiting hasn't been Crean's problem, it's what he's done with the talent once it's got on campus IMO. One question I would have if they get rid of him, is who would they realistically see as a replacement? I'm not so sure there would be a candidate out there that would be all that much of an upgrade. :idunno:
