Excellent post voice. After 2008 I think the best teams Beechwood has field since then was in 2011 and 2014. I also think in those years they were 3rd best team in the state. Beechwood will most definitely have to work for the title if they are going to win it. Beechwood after round 1 in the playoff will have a tough road going against teams such as Louisville Holy Cross , Frankfort and then a Russellville. That my friend is a tough road. But after this year 2015 what does the tiger program look like?

 

Beechwood will be good every year. That is the way it is now with the program. Some years they will be excellent. Some years they will be very good. Beechwood always has at least 3-6 top notch players who can play at the next level if they choose to, and the program and coaching will surround those top tier players with solid, capable players in the other positions.

Hang on. Third in the entire state or third best in 1A? Not to nitpick but those two things are pretty different.

To answer the question of the thread I'm going to be optimistic and say the Tigers take two titles in the next 4 years based on no information at all, just the fact that I want them to do it.

The gap has been small between the two in most years, Beechwood will not miss them.

They graduated everyone, including the water boy and cheerleaders this year. That group at William was special and had been the team they had planned for going back to atleast middle school where they were state champs. I think for the moment, they will struggle

I think its a bit presumptuous to declare winning state at the beginning or even the middle of the season, much less years in advance. So many factors, injuries, bad bounces, THE OTHER TEAMS. While I have respect for BW and I hope they do win state. This thread about doing it and doing it so often is comical. Hope Rash and the kids can live up to those expectations.

I think Beechwood takes three. I also think the west will win all four. However, Raceland will be in the state semis the next four years and if they aren't, I'll be really surprised. Raceland will play either Pikeville or Hazard in the semis on the east side each year. Pikeville is creeping towards the finals every year as is Raceland. Hazard has been and conquered and I believe one of these three teams will challenge Beechwood in state at least two of their three predicted title I chose. Which ones? I honestly don't know. I think maybe Raceland once and Hazard the other. Nonetheless, I think Beechwood wins three, and someone on the west gives Beechwood a run for their money and surprises them. Can't say who, maybe Frankfort, but that's what we will see in the near future.
