I want to go back to 1A, 2A does not have fans on here to cut up with making it boring and leaving me with having to bomb 1A threads to get my winter football fix. I never dreamed AA would be so boring

What's amazing to me is that prior to Mayfield moving up, I truly expected Coach Rash to be hung I'm effigy in Ft. Mitchell. Now, it's like the second coming. Too funny. Why even have a state championship if Beechwood is the best small school? Honestly Class A is weak. Heck, LudLow, Bellevue and Dayton are pitiful. IMO, combine the Class A and AA. Now that would be competitive. Too many darn classes in Ky.

Since Beechwoods last title in 08. Where would you rank them ?

 

09 I would put them at 5th behind LCA, Hazard, Mayfield and Critteden County

 

10 I would put them behind Mayfield, Hazard, and LCA

 

11 I would put them behind Hazard and Mayfield

 

12 I would put them behind Mayfield. But if a healthy Hazard team doesn't lose Austin Johnson to a season ending torn Achilles then I would rank them 3rd. But Beechwood was number two

 

13 I would put them behind Mayfield, Willliamsburg, Frankfort, Hazard and Raceland.

 

14 They are behind Mayfield and Williamsburg.

In 2009 you spanked Beechwood. Mayfield beat CC by 3. My opinion that year Hazard vs LCA was the best two teams and then Mayfield. Hazard dropped a pass on 4th and 7 with 7.3 seconds. The kid who dropped the pass was Zach Blanton who dislocated is shoulder in the game and refused to come out.

I do agree it would be a good game. My reasoning for putting Williamsburg at 2 is because they only lost by a botched extra point. Game was even the whole way and both teams deserved to win but only 1 could.

I read something about the Combs kid and Stringer kid may not play because of baseball. I was wondering if anyone can clear this up or confirm it? Not trying to start anything just want to know because if those kids don't play Beechwood will need others to step up.

Seems to be an every year topic. At this point you have to assume they are going to play. Both were already committed prior to last football season and both played, why quit now? Most colleges coaches are coming out publicly that they prefer multi sport athletes, though I have no specific knowledge about either UL or UK bassball stance.

Yes it would. Losing those kids would put a good damper on them in 2015.
