Obviously depends on the breakdown among the schools since they are right on the cusp. Looks like Beechwood actually dropped in enrollment between the last two realignments. I don't know if that's a trend but they are landlocked in the town with little room to add population.

I knew they were close, hence the term "cusp". How did the numbers work out? I know BW 4 year was 188 with the smallest 2A at 200. Was 190 the break?

Yes. 190.1. Fort Knox is at 200 but a show of dropping enrollment in the new alignment allowed them to drop to Class A.

75 are you pretty close to the program? If so fill us in on if those kids are going to sit out and stay healthy for baseball?

Sorry, not close at all. Graduated from there over 40 years go and several nieces and nephews attended so I follow them.

Nice.. Beechwood is a top notch program. I do wish someone could fill in more but it is along way off til football season.

In 2010 Beechwood was atleast 3rd or 4th best. I think Hazard matched up better with Beechwood than Mayfield. But I do think if Hazard doesn't turn the ball over its a much different game but Mayfield was the more superior team.

I am not a big believer in the score comparison game, but if that is all you have then that is what you use. Of course we do have the opinion of a very knowledgeable Mayfield fan who saw both teams too but you seem to be discounting his opinion.

I do agree that's all I really have to go by because I wasn't there to watch the Mayfield vs Beechwood game. But I know Mayfield controlled the whole game against Beechwood just as they did against Hazard. But Hazard moved the ball on Mayfield just as Beechwood but Beechwood came away with points and Hazard didn't. The Beechwood vs Mayfield game was also at Beechwood which is home field advantage and very favorable for Beechwood. I am by no means disrespecting Beechwood by saying they weren't worthy of the 2nd best team in Class A in 2010 just stating that even though Hazard lost 44 to 6, I still think they were better than the score indicated. I am interested in the Beechwood in 2015 because of hearing about some of those kids who may not play or will play.

I can't help you out on who is playing or not playing for Beechwood. We won't know that for sure until August. That is when the high level baseball seasons come to an end. As far as I know, they are all coming back.
