What should bourbon be drank from?

One of the major differences in my grandfathers was that one drank his Jack Daniels out of a lowball glass, and the other drank his Jim Beam out of a rocks glass. The funny part was that both of their glasses looked like this:

If you're going for most bang for the fewest dollars, I'd have to say Jim Beam small-batch 12 year.

Buffalo Trace seems to be a favorite in my family. Can't drink the stuff myself. Love the smell of it but as soon as it hits the tongue it's all over. Got ridiculously drunk on it one time and sicker than I've ever been, I just can't bring myself to drink it.
