The only real weakpoints, in my opinion, were "The Californians" and then Kanye's performance. Honestly, of all the alums who come up in the various "SNL greats" discussions, the only one I think I felt got a sufficient share of the limelight was Will Ferrell. Also, simply because they obviously did everything they could to avoid from having the show be a "hey...look at all of videos of these old bits" kind of affair, the deceased alumni were utilized far too little in the show - particularly when you consider the fact that Belushi, Radner, Farley, and Hartman are among the deceased.

It's the only explanation for them putting on something that unfunny as many times as they have. And they're always SO LONG. I have never understood the infatuation with The Californians.
February 20, 201511 yr So did anyone see the Rolling Tones article that ranked every SNL cast member ever. All 141. Norm was 135. My only assumption is the author or the magazine doesn't understand comedy.
