Kentucky 71 LSU 69

Sure looked like LSU got away with a big walk on that run out at the end of the game.

A big walk plus a foot on the baseline. If that guy wasn't out of bounds it was by the width of a hair.

As I said in the update thread, Towns also got away with a foul on that big rebound before Booker's FTs. They go both way.

That wasn't a foul. Towns went straight up and flipped the ball backwards toward the court. They replayed it and it was clear as could be.

At what point during this game did the platoon system cease to exist?

Seeing Dale Brown gave me flash backs on the 1978 loss.

I had that National Title tidbit already just in case. :thumb:

It appeared his off hand was on the LSU players shoulder

Yeah his left arm on top of the LSU player's right shoulder and his left hand in the guy's face say it wasn't a foul.

Booker was cold again tonight, when him and Aaron both struggle they will play in close games

He was fine as far as far as his body position. He wasn't on the guys back at all but he had that left arm on his shoulder and used it for leverage to reach over and tip the ball. It was definitely a foul.

I told my wife we got away with one there when Towns fouled the guy.

I've got it on DVR. I'll rewatch it and take another look. I'm probably wrong due to my strong Blue Bias, lol. Some things one doesn't want to see.

Crazy...LSU started the game on a 11-2 run, then had the 21-2 run in the 2nd half. UK got outscored in a 6-7 minute stretch 32-4 on the road and won. Just crazy.

Also, the plus minus is really telling tonight. The 2nd platoon all has + numbers while the starters all had - numbers

He was cold from the outside. His little 8-10 footer is pretty much money though.

Towns and WCS are starters so you can throw those numbers out the window.

Thing is, I thought for the first 30 minutes that was about as well as UK has played in some time. LSU was making a lot of tough shots during that same span. LSU didn't score the last 4-5 minutes.
