Kentucky 71 LSU 69

Featured Replies

Martin and Mickey combined for 37 and 17. KAT and WCS combined for 27 and 20. A man's game in the post tonight. WCS and Towns also combined for 9 blocks. Not sure how many the LSU duo had.

I feel like he really need to work on shooting coming off a screen from deep. He hits it at a solid clip from about '15. He is a great knock down shooter when its kicked to him with his feet set. But coming off a screen needs a decent amount of work, especially for the next level. And I absolutely love the guy.

Agree completely. It seems when he tries to take over he rushes things a bit. By far my favorite player on the team. He's a Kay Thompson clone IMO.

You stepping back from some of your comments about KAT a few weeks ago UKMF? Haha! You were definitely right back then, but he's put together three pretty solid games (barring the dumb tech).

I'll post before reading the rest of the thread:

Game made me sick to my stomach and I hate feeling that much anxiety over something like that. But after KAT's selfish technical, it really irked me. 6 point swing on that play cause WCS tipped it in and then they make a FT and a 3, sparking a huge run. Just hate that dumb play. But boy did KAT have another solid game tonight, besides the bonehead play.

Cats win another battle. Can only continue to help make them better hopefully.

Did you see the reporters question for Cal directly after the game ? Cal mentioned that and said that he told Towns / team that for that move ....he hoped that they would lose.

Then he built K.A. back up by saying how he played so well, stepped it up to win after returning to the game.

Earlier in the year people wondered despite all the talent Kentucky had if they had a go to guy at the end of the game when they really needed a basket. It looks like Towns is really stepping up his game and becoming that guy.

Just saying they missed calls both ways.

So it has absolutely nothing to do with the play I was describing, gotcha.

I wasn't talking about how the game was officiated. Just about one play. There's no reason to try and justify it by saying there should have been a foul called on another play. A missed call is a missed call. I'm glad they missed it.

They had 4, all by Mickey.

I mean, I don't think I was wrong :lol2: He makes some really dumb plays. Kid is as talented a post player as you'll find. Maturity and mental side of things still a work in progress.

He's been outstanding the last 3 games though, technical not withstanding.

My money is still on Aaron. Kid has ice water.

It wasn't a foul no matter how much you want it to be.

I said I'm glad they missed it. Did you not read that? But they did miss it. Go back and watch the replay.

How was it not?

I'm interested in hearing this explanation...
