Kentucky 71 LSU 69

He was cold from the outside. His little 8-10 footer is pretty much money though.

He's struggled a little bit the past few games. I think I saw he's like 2 for his last 12 three point attempts

Nice win in a tough place to win. Willie and KAT with good games again and Booker had a real good first half. Thought Lyles gave them 18 good minutes, 4 pts, 4 Rebs. Dakari looked better with 12 good minutes and 7 pts, 4 Rebs. The thing that dumbfounds me though is when Harrison and Harrison are on the floor together the offensive flow seems to just go away. The ball rarely goes into the bigs and it seems that it's Harrison looking for Harrison and vice versa. Imo Harrison & Harrison = selfish. They control the ball the majority of the shot clock and the flow is just not smooth usually ending up in a Harrison drive or a Harrison jumper. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way? I know this team needs Aaron Harrison scoring from the outside to supplement Booker but something just doesn't seem right when they are on the floor at the same time.

I feel like Booker has started to force a few shots the last couple games. Kid is a "high volume bucket maker" but it seems he's more successful when he just let's it come to him IMO.

Don't agree at all EZ. I thought Andrew played pretty darn well tonight. Aaron just wasn't getting it to fall.

Understatement of the year .....WOW, What a Win. What a Game.

K.A. Towns made up for his "Freshman/Showboat Mistake" and matured a lot tonight. Instead of sulking over the call and getting his butt ripped by Cal afterwards he pulled himself up, took initiative and when he returned to the game played hard, played great in helping the Cats to a Huge SEC Road win.

Aside from Towns I thought that WCS made some key plays, defensive stops/blocks and rebounds. Andrew H. also played very well. Actually tonight this U.K. team looked more like the team that blew out Kansas, UNC and others in the early part of the season.

Back home on Sat. vs. South Carolina.

23-0 / 11-0 ......SUCCEED and PROCEED !!

Could Aaron have been more ice cold? Was that his worst shooting game in blue? Karl had some huge rebounds.

Did you forget about the Texas A&M game when he was 4 for 20 and 2 for 13 from 3? I know I haven't.

He was fine as far as far as his body position. He wasn't on the guys back at all but he had that left arm on his shoulder and used it for leverage to reach over and tip the ball. It was definitely a foul.

How about the Willie dunk when they defender came down across his shoulder with no foul call?

Crazy...LSU started the game on a 11-2 run, then had the 21-2 run in the 2nd half. UK got outscored in a 6-7 minute stretch 32-4 on the road and won. Just crazy.

10-2 to start the game, but yes the runs were crazy.

I'll post before reading the rest of the thread:

Game made me sick to my stomach and I hate feeling that much anxiety over something like that. But after KAT's selfish technical, it really irked me. 6 point swing on that play cause WCS tipped it in and then they make a FT and a 3, sparking a huge run. Just hate that dumb play. But boy did KAT have another solid game tonight, besides the bonehead play.

Cats win another battle. Can only continue to help make them better hopefully.

WCS with some absolute posters tonight. Making up for the ones we've missed from Poythress.

How about the Willie dunk when they defender came down across his shoulder with no foul call?

What does that have to do with the play that I was describing?

Don't agree at all EZ. I thought Andrew played pretty darn well tonight. Aaron just wasn't getting it to fall.

I didn't say that either played that badly. I just said that the offense doesn't seem to flow as smoothly when they are on the floor together and they appear to only be looking for each other. I'd like to see the ball go into Towns more because he is a force right now. They want to settle for a drive or a 3 pt shot from 25 feet.

For a while our bigs weren't playing well and it sure seems like they've been stepping up lately. Be nice to have our guards and bigs all clicking. Maybe they'll just save that for March.

What does that have to do with the play that I was describing?

Just saying they missed calls both ways.

I feel like Booker has started to force a few shots the last couple games. Kid is a "high volume bucket maker" but it seems he's more successful when he just let's it come to him IMO.

I feel like he really need to work on shooting coming off a screen from deep. He hits it at a solid clip from about '15. He is a great knock down shooter when its kicked to him with his feet set. But coming off a screen needs a decent amount of work, especially for the next level. And I absolutely love the guy.
