Grammys 2015

Him running up on stage was absolutely funny given the prior circumstances. He did it to be funny. If it's not funny to you, then like I said, you're probably a square...

His comments afterwards were just what he does. Should he have kept it to himself? Maybe... But he's an entertainer. You just gave your opinion on him, why can't he give his opinion on somebody else? I like the majority of his music, and some of his antics I roll my eyes at, but that's just his character. I wouldn't do or say some of the stuff he does, but I'm not Kanye. You are not his target demographic, so he really doesn't care whether or not you like him. He will continue to be successful either way.

His tacky comments afterwards was a reflection that his antics on stage spoke more about what he was trying to imply than it being just a joke. Sure it could be viewed as a joke, but a joke filled with his distorted view. Sure everyone is entitled to their own opinion, his however comes from an extremely shallow place that screams volumes about how classless a dude he is. You even dabbling in defending him screams volumes about you.

I don't know exactly how one would measure squareness or hipness, but in a contest between you and me I'm certain there is no contest because I've already run off with the awarded trophy long ago leaving all the squares in the dust. Such a shame that you've been blinded by all the sand that got trapped in your eyes. Good luck getting it out.

He will sleep fine regardless of our criticism , because we are outside his demographics , but not outside the truth . I couldnt name any song he chants out , all I know is he's known as a pompous horse's backside with no manners , who acts up to interrupt any light being placed on someone other than him .

Why don't you get more worked up about something a musician did at the Grammy's... Seriously man, you need to relax. Me saying it was funny isn't me defending him... I clearly stated that I wouldn't do or say some of the stuff he does, I guess you chose to omit that from your response. I also said that I like his MUSIC, and that I roll my eyes at some of the things he does. I can't change them, so why would I get that worked up about it? Be ticked off all you want, but questioning someones character because of the music they like, really? :lol2:

I'm not questioning the music you like, I'm questioning how you could defend his antics.

I don't consider myself a racist (although Kanye is) and I don't like playing the race card, but how well would something like this fly if a white dude jumped up when a black artist was being presented with a Grammy to try to imply that it should've gone to another white artist?

Yep...I call out ignorance when I see it.

Someone please tell Madge that no one wants to see her 56 year old behind sticking out. As the Great one said, act your age; not your shoe size.

As usual, I missed a great deal because I fell asleep.

But, from what I did see:

Loved the Hozier/Annie Lennox performance. My GOD that woman can sing!

I absolutely love Lady Gaga's voice. Her duet with Tony Bennet was amazing, as was her performance with Elton John a couple of years ago.

Madonna's performance was ok. BUT, I totally dig an that a woman almost 60 years old still performs at the level she does. Aging male rockers get no flack when they do what they've always done, so Madge...you go girl!

LOVED Taylor Swift's dress!

AC/DC...goes without question.

Eric Church....my dude.

Kanye and Rihanna was cool.

Miranda....like the song and her in general. A woman with her talent, who can shoot whiskey and light up a cig...while looking like that and her personality? She could have come out there and stood silent, I'd have been good.

I thought Kanye would have bothered me, but I was sitting there thinking the same as everybody else...WTH?!

I watched most of it and I mostly watch them for the live performances. And I liked most of them.

I am normally against artists speaking out on issues (if it is a concert) but I am fine with it at the Grammys.

I did get a belly laugh out of them calling place where the audio/video staff coordinates the show "The Bunker."

Wait, so Kanye being insensitive to Taylor Swift and Beck is because he is a racist? Is that what you are saying?

Kanye West? Married to a white woman and made an interracial baby is racist? That's what you're saying?

So you think Kanye's antics at the Grammy's are racially motivated?

I look forward to seeing you call out your own posts then. Nothing is a better example of ignorance than the post claiming Kanye did this because he's racist.
