A buddy and I were talking the other day and he asked if I would do this trade and I laughed when he first said it and said no way. However after thinking about it, I think I would. I believe he is in the last year of his contract, so the Bengals could get out of it just like they could the Dalton deal after this year. Gruden may go for it since Dalton and he did produce a top ten offense his last year. So Even though RG3 has looked very bad the last two years, I think it could be worth a shot. He would have talented guys to throw to and a strong running game that doesn't need him to have to run the ball for the running game to be successful. He has a strong arm and could stretch the field more too. Obviously the team should still focus on being a defensive and running team first. However I dont think with him that it would make the team any worst but a small chance if things click with him that it could help the team get over the hump. It could be a complete fail but it is something I think I would chance for next year.

It wouldn't let me post a poll on my phone.

Not to mention I think with Hue coaching him that with his coaching style it could light more of a fire under RG3 than the coaches he has had so far.

We had this discussion before. It's still a resounding NO.

The NFL labels itself a "Quarterback Driven League". Unfortunately, this only has a chance of working if you have a HOF caliber QB. If Peyton Manning only has 1 ring in 15 years, how reasonable is it to expect any QB to take you to a SB?

Neither of these QBs will be very successful without solid OL, running game, receivers and defense.

You could sub RG3 for Russel Wilson and get the same results. 20 passes a game with a stellar run game and great defense takes the pressure off a QB and breeds success.

I agree totally.

You guys really think you could substitute RGIII in for Russell Wilson?? I have to disagree. Russell Wilson has the intangibles that RGIII does not have (his teammates love him unlike RGIII). Also, he has the ability to run around and NOT GET HURT, which RGIII cannot seem to master.

BTW, serious question, where has Hellbird been? I would love to hear his stance on this. I hope he is not sick but he has been AWOL lately.

For various reasons we do not address/talk about suspended members on the forum.

Not just no but hell no.

Not just no but hell no.

BGP rules prohibit me from being even more emphatic.

^ A woman told me that once, it kinda stuck.

I am trying to figure out who the talented receivers are that RG3 would be throwing to.
