However, if I could "Just Get Through This Night" it would be "All in a Day's Work". However, all the "Superstars" who participate in the All A thank you for your insightful commentary. BTW, all the "Superstars" at NewCath and Holy Cross will invite you and "Miss America" down for the unveiling of their All A State Champion banners. I'll make sure you and all the "Lonely People" get "The Message". Forgot to mention, McDonald, Weyer, & Pangallo.....they are "Lords of the Ring".

On the KHSAA scoreboard it says All A State tournament. It may not be sanctioned by them but they do recognize it on their scoreboard as the All A state tournament

 

Does KHSAA actually put that on there or does the person reporting/submitting (whatever the right term is) it?

I mean, I'm guessing KHSAA doesn't "recognize" any tournament as anything other than a tournament. That same field on the screen seems to be used for various other comments as well. OT, Rescheduled______, 5 innings, and tournaments of all shapes and sizes.

*Although I am curious why softball/baseball show "5 innings" but basketball and football don't show "running clock".

Yes I have been to an All-A Championship. I have also been to every round of the tournament before the championship.

You have to email the KHSAA to have any tournament listed on the scoreboard. The KHSAA is the actually one that has to put it on the there to be recognized.

If the tournament was called the "Salute to Styx & Pork Rinds Invitational" the KHSAA would list it on the scoreboard as such. It doesn't mean the KHSAA recognizes it as a state playoff game, and you know that. Clever naming makes people think it's a playoff game.

We've never said that the khsaa recognizes it as a playoff game.

 

But they do recognize it on their scoreboard.

 

It is still a state wide tournament that is played with teams represented from all across the state. It is a state tournament ran by the All A organization.

Not at all, just love seeing how everyone gets geeked up and justifies it as a "State' Championship when it's not. Point of this whole thread and reason why so many oppose it, or for it, if your from the All "A" teamsters class. Just coming from "peaked at high school Rob Lowe, or was that meat head Rob Lowe"? :idunno: When KHSAA splits the schools like they do in Football and Track, then they can call themselves state champs, until then, its a nice tournament as I've said. keep the money for the rings to pay for something that matters and is recognized by their state affiliation.

 

I guess you need to talk to Stan and convince him to rename it becasue you don't agree with it, then everyone can be happy.
