Quite an evening for the HC center. Double zero Turner also extremely impressive. Did HC miss any free throws tonight? Maybe one? Holmes does many things well, but field goal accuracy is not on that list. As an aside, how did HC ever lose to Brossart?

Holy Cross has had some key players miss quite a few games with injuries. They are just now getting totally healthy.

Very good game! Both are teams are very good. And you're right...a great atmosphere for girls basketball. One of those games you hate to see someone have to lose.

Oops .. I guess I missed something in the update and/or prediction threads?

Great game tonight, I thought Holmes forced shots in the paint area that had no chance in the first half. Going into this game I thought one weakness Holmes had was there outside shooting. They knocked down a few but probably shot a low percentage. The match up zone Holy Cross plays is tough to score against and forces you to take bad or rushed shots! To me that was the key to the game,Holmes could not score in the first half therefore could not get into there press where they can turn you over for easy lay ups!Holy Cross is still not 100 percent but there slowly getting there!

How is this for a girls mid season crowd. Felt like a Regional final.
