When did Scott (located in Taylor Mill) and Beechwood (in Fort Mitchell) move their campuses to Covington??

 

Same time Covington Catholic moved their campus to Park Hills.

Holy Cross will be way better than they have been the last 2years. They young guys have experience now and Derek Barnes is the real deal. I can't wait to see this kid play

How much is not having a JR feeder team going to hurt Holy Cross in the future?

Need to get numbers up for depth. Encourage people at a young age to checkout holycross and its education and athletics. Encourage kids to want to come there over the other local Catholic schools offering football. My last opinion would be to try and put a youth football team together to play in the kenton county peewee league like southkenton and now Taylormill Eagles do . This should encourage kids and build numbers .

They were not able to field a middle school team last year having only about 10 kids sign up. From what I understand, they are planning on fielding a team this year.

What do you mean by "encouage" kids to come there. Does HC have feeder schools they share with the other catholic schools or is the HC grade and Middle school their only feeder?

I believe Bishop Foys has actually done away with the "feeder school" system in the Diocese of Covington. My understanding is that any child of a member of any diocesan parish is considered "in district" for all diocesan high schools. So although it would reason that the kids from Holy Cross Grade School would go on to attend the high school, it is no longer pre-determined or influenced by a feeder system.

I'm working on finding out what's going with the schedule for HC. Obviously, something is wrong somewhere.

Holy Cross is one of the hardest teams in Northern Kentucky to predict what they will be like each year.
