Saw Rand Paul talk while at UK and have really liked him ever since. Not sure on who I would like second. I need to read up more on Jeb, Marco and Christie.

One already had a failed run and the other is from a family whose name doesn't sit well with 30-40% of the voting electorate.

I went ahead and googled this. The only President since 1900 who lost their first bid was Richard Nixon.

Who's most likely to get the major bucks from Big Business and Wall Street fat cats, and be annointed by Karl Rove? Right there's your likely winner ... unless there's an "energizing" candidate lurking in the shadows. Which there isn't, as far as I can see.

I think more democrats would vote for Paul than you think.

 

I think that's why the Dems (DCN) are afraid of him, I think he does have a broad range of support. Democrats as scared of him because he will pull votes from their side and Republicans are afraid of him because he's not a normal Republican.

Several reasons, but I'd rather not get in to them right now. I don't like him though and would rather not vote than to vote for him.

Is that perception of him because of policy or because some conservatives don't like that he was too friendly with his praise of Obama after Hurricane Sandy?

I think publicly, many wont support Christie, however inside the voting box, with no one else watching, many, many, many would vote for him.

 

Im not s huge Jeb Bush fan, but I think hes the most qualified for the job in the overall picture. You have to look at the state the US will be in by 2016, we will likely be at war again with someone, more than likely multiply someones, this country needs a leader.

A few thoughts . Christie would never ever get my support . He is a classic NE liberal Rhino . Romney . That makes me bout as excited as a January morning in the low teens with a stiff wind blowing and sleet . Couldnt win against a truly awful sutting president , maybe he just needs a ( even) weaker opponent. Bush ? I'm about Bushed out . Quite frankly just dont trust the brand anymore. I like Paul Ryan . And I like Rand Paul. Like him alot . Christie will never win a national election because the base wouldnt give him any support at all. You think they stayed home for Romney . Let Christie be the nominee , he better attract Dem's bc he isnt getting full R support. no way .

She's definitely going to be in the money big time with fat cat support. But that doesn't fit his agenda.
