Paul is probably the only chance I'd vote for the GOP candidate. I haven't saw anyone from the Dems I'd vote for. As of now, my vote is Gary Johnson's to lose.

Which of the current crop of GOP candidates is capable of flipping one of the Democratic big-electoral states? That's how this election will be won by Republicans in '16. This election has zilch to do with Kentucky or Kansas, but everything to do with flipping Pennsylvania or California or Michigan/Ohio.

 

(And remember, U.S. is becoming less Caucasian every day.)

I could care less if the Republicans win the White House or not. They sucks just as bad, if not worse than the Democrats.

I would have to agree as long as it is someone that would be considered a moderate rather than left associated.

I am not convinced Hillary is a legit threat to win. Not sure about the contenders.

 

It seems like it is a great chance for the Republicans to take the White House.

This is kind of where I am at right now. I'm certain I won't be voting for Hillary but that could change. Gary Johnson is the only other person I am considering voting for besides Paul, Christie or Hillary.

Probably about as well as centrist Republicans do with the lunatic fringes of their party, who dominate the primary voting. They all get labeled as RINOS, so I'm sure these folks will get labeled as DINOs.

Democrats seem to be a little more tolerant of candidates who do not fit the mold of who they want. Fringe left democrats felt Bill Clinton was too Centrist but after the primary, still supported him in the general election and reelection. Centrist democrats didn't care for how far left Obama was but still came out to support him in the general election and reelection. Is a divide starting to build in the Democratic party like has formed in the Republican party?

Speaking for myself I think it may be Hillary fatigue more than anything else. On the republican side we have Paul, Christie, Rubio, Romney, J. Bush, Palin, etc. Some new faces and old faces and a chance to see if anything new may be said or take place.

 

On the democrats side we have Hillary. Mehhhh....

 

This upcoming election has the whole feel of 2004 to me when a lame duck John Kerry was sent to represent the democrats in the presidential election.
