Both Police Officers were executed after being wounded, one was laying on the ground with his arms up when he was executed after already being shot. The second one was executed after being shot in his car.

 

I don't know if they were that precise in killing the others yet or not. But these guys were very methodical and not raving lunatics. Bulky clothing makes me wonder if they had on vest under their jackets or bomb vest maybe.

Sad situations, the terrorist act as well as the mindset of people in response, including in this thread. It just goes to show that being tolerant of other religion is just a farce on all sides.

 

There are extremists on all sides, and it doesn't matter who has more, it's not a contest so why keep score?

 

It's also disturbing that just hours after the attach people are already bashing on our government and president on what will they do, or what they will say, instead of giving them a chance to respond. It's hate, just as the hate that these extremist have, it's just theirs is on a higher level of hate, but it's all hate.

 

As I said, it doesn't matter how many extremist committed acts such as this were of one religion or another. Their are over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, if it was their goal, a Muslim goal, to do this and to convert everyone, I'm pretty sure more of the 1.5 million of them would be doing this, a lot more of them. But they are not!

 

As far as them wanting to convert everyone, how is that different than any other religion? Why do we have Christian based religions all over the world trying to do the same? Didn't the first white men who stepped foot in the Western Hemisphere do the same? It's been going on in this part of the world for 100's of years.

 

So far we are lucky as many of our home grown terrorist have decided to go overseas to fight, just wait until they decide to stay here and do their thing, it will happen. But we are asking for it, people up in arms and ticked off about searches at the airport, full body scans, pat downs. People in the USA would rather have convenience than safety. If you don't want the safety features, don't fly, it's a privilege not a right. Same with anything else, such as attending a sporting event, people are upset over searches, it's not about their "rights", the people complaining about it are only upset because they can't sneak in their own alcohol, again, convenience over safety.

 

Now to the event today. A very sad situation, but unfortunately it's not the first, and it won't be the last. Tonight there were about 20,000 in Paris who attended a quickly organized "Paris is not afraid" rally.

 

But, this magazine has been bombed before over things that they have printed. We may think it's everyone's right and freedom to print anything they want. If mocking Mohammed will tick off some people who will retaliate, and in a big way, then why do it? If you know they will be very ticked? Yes, they have the freedom to print what they want, but they know they will be targeted for it.

 

We have the right to say anything. But is it smart to go into a poor all black area and yell the N word? It's your right to say it, but it's not going to be your smartest move, and you will likely end up in the ER, if you're lucky. So why tempt people?

CNN reporting youngest shooter turned himself in and the other two are on the run.

These types of acts are beyond the comprehension of the vast, vast majority of people, regardless of religion, race, cultural biases, etc. To paint Islam as the blame and believe they are trying to convert everyone no matter which tactics you use is completely misguided.

 

There really seems to be no answer other than wipe these factions out with extreme force, but the price is also wiping out many innocent citizens. No civilized government or leader will do that and they know it.
