January 9, 201511 yr You just made my point. People who think the non-radical Christians aren't happy down deep inside when the radical Christians do awful things are badly mistaken. See how ignorant that sounds? How many Christians do anything on the scale of Muslim extremists today ? Westboro Baptists wewere bigots and is the most extreme case I can think of domestically recently and I don't know a Christian alive who didn't speak out or oppose them.

January 9, 201511 yr Again I know not all Muslims are extreme. Millions are blending into our society and doing a lot for America. My problem lies in some of the posts on here trying to make equivalency between religions. Islam extremists are much more extreme and much larger numbers than any other major religion in modern times. How many of you have lived near a Muslim community for extended period of time ? How many of you have interacted with Muslims on a daily basis ? If most of you have never lived outside of KY I'm guessing not many of you have and your lack of exposure doesn't allow you to see the whole picture . There are many good muslim communities in this country but to ignore there are many extreme communities is denying a fact . There are communities that treat women like it's the 1800s or even worse. In Michigan alone there are many incidents between Muslims who immigrated from the Middle East and Christians who imigrated from the middle east to avoid persecution. They still don't accept them here . One such community and excuse the spelling "Chaledean" clash with Muslims all the time . We don't hear about it in the media but I lived near. Dearborn Michigan at some festivals would shock some what takes place. Again many are good people who want to be Americans like you or I. But we can't ignore the bad seeds and make false equivalencis to appease them or for some false sense of being politically correct . We need to call the extreme ones out for who they are and understand most of today's terrorist come from a Muslim community.

Obviously not all Muslims are extreme . But I also belive it is just as dangerous to underestimate how many hold extreme. It is a much larger percentage than some want to belive. In the United States that percentage shrinks but there is still a strong extreme feeling in some communities. But in the Middle East that % is much much higher than some would want you to believe.
