January 8, 201511 yr I agree about March Madness and when it's a sunn day during that first weekend it's even better. You end up going to the park and leaving with an ear ache due to the cool breeze.
January 8, 201511 yr I don't see a plate from Canada or a state north of the Mason Dixon line while driving to work. Who do you think your kidding.. It's still spring down your way.
March 18, 201511 yr Spring is here! We started our spring cleanups this week, customers are already calling wanting mulch and stuff planted. We will mulch, but its still too early to plant anything.
March 18, 201511 yr First clear sign for me today was while I was waiting for my daughter to get out of archery practice I was able to watch several innings of Somerset and Boyle County baseball game...tied 4-4 bottom of the 6th!
March 18, 201511 yr I noticed the first signs of spring yesterday-the tulips & hyacinths are popping up plus I ran in shorts yeah! March madness is starting, I love spring!
March 18, 201511 yr Being able to pee outside. .....while standing on one leg and holding a bottle of beer with the other hand.
March 18, 201511 yr Soccer practice and when the overzealous neighbors start mowing grass. I came across an eagle in the wild yesterday, which was also a pretty good sign.
March 18, 201511 yr Heat pump in my house totally off...not on Heat and not on Cool. Looking forward to a reasonable Duke Energy bill for a change.
March 18, 201511 yr It's times like this I miss living closer to the middle of the city. It's that time of year when the mangy dumpster cats start issuing the horrible noises of felines making baby dumpster cats. Sweet music of the night... :puke: When I used to live up near the intersection of Baxter and Broadway I would have to listen to that horrible sound ALL THE TIME.
March 18, 201511 yr Soccer practice and when the overzealous neighbors start mowing grass. I came across an eagle in the wild yesterday, which was also a pretty good sign. What part of KY?
March 18, 201511 yr What part of KY? Central KY and definitely the first time I've ever seen one in these parts.
