Every WKY team should be 1-2 spots higher and Bowling Green should be on this list.... Also there is no way Doss should be as high as they are after losing to 2 teams the way they did in the Holiday Tourney at BGHS. And they almost lost a 3rd game to South Warren.

Maxpreps had her #3 nationally

Walter says Holmes would beat her like a bass drum.

I will just say this.

GRC will be there by the end of the season.

No offense, but I seen GRC at the Rowan County Holiday Classic (or whatever they called it) against Johnson Central and was not that impressed. They're a good team, and would probably win the 16th or be right there with Boyd and Rowan if they were in our region. But the team I saw in December is lightyears away from Top 20 in the state.

Doss was ranked #6 when they defeated a then #2 NCC and a then #4 Owensboro. They then lost to Taylor County who was at #12 I think.

Unless the KHSAA scoreboard is wrong Doss only lost to one team at the BGHS tournament and the game they lost to Christian County came after they immediately finished a game against South Warren or Bardstown. Did they play two games back to back? All of my information says they did and the KHSAA scoreboard says they played 3 games that day and only lost one of them which was to Christian County. I don't care how good your team is...if you play quality competition in back to back games and your competition is more rested you will likely lose.

Either way, you can't dismiss a team that is good enough to defeat NCC. That win carries weight and circumstances of losses carry weight as well. You say every WKY team should be 1-2 spots higher but want to discredit how good WKY teams are when taking into account how good Doss is. That doesn't make sense.

With multiple dunks.

And beat PRP. Without all their kids available in some of those games as well. Can't discount that.

That was the game that we couldn't hit a three-pointer and Johnson Central was on fire from that range in the 2nd half. Mason Blair had 8 three-pointers in the 2nd half and ended with 32 points.

GRC just couldn't put Johnson Central away that game.

Still won by 15 though.

Big game with Rowan County in 2 weeks at home on Thursday, January 22nd. Maybe that result will change your mind.

I hope Webster County and Williamsburg get a look into breaking into the top 20 next week. Webster is a very underrated team. I don't see them losing anytime before the Henderson game (1/30). Might be a very nice game.
