January 2, 201511 yr I tell people all the time that if you want to see another fan base that acts like the UK basketball fan base all you have to do is go north to Columbus. They're exactly the same. They think announcers are against them. They think they're undervalued. They are both very thin-skinned. They are both extremely obnoxious when they win. Hide the childre if they win a game the experts didn't think they would win. So when you read OSU fans on here or any other boards realize you're reading a UK basketball fan's rants as well. The truth of the matter is every fanbase thinks like what you have accused UK and OSU fans of being. I never ver understood the garbage when people say those things about UK fans or OSU fans. Have you ever heard from some Steeler fans or Browns fans or Patriot fans? I have and they all can be very obnoxious. The reason UK fans are targeted is because there are so many period.

The average drunken gomer Philadelphian inside the stadium at an Eagles game makes the most obnoxious Ohio State fan seem as amiable as Mister Rogers.
January 2, 201511 yr Here's another think that ticks me off about fans in general. I hate the front runner fans that are only there when a team is good. There were a lot of people last night that didn't even know OSU's roster and haven't watched a game all year, yet were "huge" OSU fans. They were the most obnoxious. I really really don't like it when people don't for UK. Last year in the middle of the year there were some people no where to be found. Then tourney time it was like a switch went on. Annoys the crap out of me

The truth of the matter is there are idiots that make every fanbase look bad. Anyone ever hear that lady Alabama fan when she calls in on radio shows? claiming UK fans are obnoxious more than other fan bases is simply putting your head in the sand and ignoring your own fanbase, whoever you may root for. just look at some of the Bengals fans, shoot I'm a fan but get ripped apart by the bias bengal fans every week. There are some truly bad fans everywhere who if you disagree with will constantly rip on you.

I will say, though, that very few colleges have fan bases like these two.
