To Knockback Nat's: From the front of your hotel, go right one block to Fountain Square (Stay on the Tiffany's side of Vine), then go left two blocks, and it will be on your left side of the street opposite of you, next to the parking lot. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and just a little bar type on the inside. Wings are good, And I got the brisket nachos which were very good as well.
December 31, 201411 yr Surprisingly, Snappy Tomato has really good wings. Biggest wings you'll find for the money and very flavorful.
December 31, 201411 yr And, quite frankly, that's why Dick's Sporting Goods has never been an issue. They honestly haven't even snickered once when we say we're going to Dick's. I have a feeling they wouldn't react the same at Dick's Last Resort. Once they figured out Knuck 'n Futz, game on. We have driven past that place hundreds of times and they haven't even noticed it. If we go in, oh...they are noticing. Been going to Knuk ' Futz for years, and have taken the kids even when they were younger. No snickers, no giggles, no big deal. If you think your kids haven't heard worse in school, on the playground or on HBO (or heck mine have probably heard it in my house). It's a name and it doesn't take a huge explanation and I don't know that they average 8 or 10 year old cares what that or any name means or where it came from. Anyway, the food is solid, and the wings are very good. I don't know that I've ever had bad wings anywhere. I can't really say I have a favorite as I can't think of any that stand head and shoulders above the rest. I'll have to try Knockback's as I love to smoke my own wings at home, and much prefer it over frying them.

December 31, 201411 yr Dick's Last Resort might be the biggest ripoff I have ever seen. My wife took my 8 yr old there and her bill was like $30 or something silly and the food was awful she said. The Oak Tavern has awesome smoked wings, they are in Oakley.

December 31, 201411 yr The Oak Tavern has awesome smoked wings, they are in Oakley. Forgot about that place. I used to work with a few guys who raved about the wings there. It's apparently right up Madison Road from O'Bryons...who has pretty solid wings as well.
December 31, 201411 yr I'm with you. Zero chance I ever go there. Went there once because we had a $25 voucher my daughter had gotten when she went during its grand opening. Food was ok, but it was way overpriced, and the whole "rude" shtick was more annoying than funny. I won't be going again.
January 1, 201511 yr ..... Had QSL again tonight -- I think I underrated them. Really solid, very meaty, and great flavor in their sauces.
