January 1, 201511 yr To Knockback Nat's: From the front of your hotel, go right one block to Fountain Square (Stay on the Tiffany's side of Vine), then go left two blocks, and it will be on your left side of the street opposite of you, next to the parking lot. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and just a little bar type on the inside. Wings are good, And I got the brisket nachos which were very good as well. We stopped in last night and the wings were great. Forgot to try the brisket nachos. Maybe because it was new years eve but probably not a place I'd hang out in much.
January 2, 201511 yr I don't get the whole Dick's Last Resort phenom. Why would you want to pay someone to be rude to you? Don't we get that already on a daily basis in today's society?! I'm with you. The less I have to talk to the waiter/waitress the better. I didn't go to dinner to talk to them. I've never been and unless it's free food, I don't see myself ever going.

January 7, 201511 yr I had Knockback Nat's wings over the weekend while we were up in NKY visiting with family. I was prepared for them to be different from "Buffalo wings", but they exceeded my expectations in how different they were. Absolutely amazing wings, though!
January 8, 201511 yr And, quite frankly, that's why Dick's Sporting Goods has never been an issue. They honestly haven't even snickered once when we say we're going to Dick's. I have a feeling they wouldn't react the same at Dick's Last Resort. Once they figured out Knuck 'n Futz, game on. We have driven past that place hundreds of times and they haven't even noticed it. If we go in, oh...they are noticing. Funny and true story...at the Easton Center in Columbus there is a huge Dick's Sporting Goods store. Two stories - biggest one I have seen. Anyway, a few years ago a good friend of mine went to visit his in-laws in that area. He was in the car with his wife, 15 year daughter and his mother-in-law. As they are driving towards Easton, his mother-in-law blurts out, "I love Easton...they have the big Dicks there". He said his daughter was actually crying she was laughing so hard in the back seat...

January 11, 201511 yr Nuk-N-Futz no question. Best part is they're within walking distance from my house! Had them yesterday. They were very good. Not worth going out of my way to get them, but I'd stop by if I ever got the invite to your house.

Back in the early-mid 90's used to maul some cheap wing nights at BW3s on short vine in Corryville, as well as, the Cold Spring location. Wings accompanied with a good trivia crowd made for a good couple hours spent...:thumb:
