Because he was killed by the police just like the others. Trying to separate it given what is going on in this country right now is just viewing things from the side of the police. There are serious questions surrounding the other 2 as well. What was Crawford doing wrong? He picked up the gun off of the store's shelf. The video shows that he wasn't waving it around or pointing it at anyone. Last I saw Ohio is an open carry state. Even if it had been a real rifle he was within his rights to be carrying it unless he had been asked to leave the store by management. I understand that the officers were given bad information by the dispatcher because of what the person that called it in told them. That doesn't mean that he was doing anything illegal that lead to his death. The Rice death is not exactly cut and dried either.

In the Crawford case he starts to lift the gun just before he is shot...it was a split second decision that had to be made but as you say it is not cut and dried, that is was or wasn't justified either.

But you can debate me until your blue in the face but I can't understand how you can't see Sharpton creates a violent outrage and hatred toward LE and that in and of itself enhances an atmosphere of anger that can help push crazy people over the edge.

I present the TEA Party rallies as an example of something that attracts SOME who are on the fringe and do not represent what the majority of the party think. When a guy shows up with signs about blacks and breeding with animals I do NOT blame Sen Cruz for attending nor the politicians who sponsored the event and have railed against immigrants and welfare. They, too, have created an environment that SOME will use as an excuse for their actions.

 

It all comes down to an individual's actions.
