December 18, 201411 yr He is an interview he gave in September of this year:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7T3H-awnJzk
December 18, 201411 yr Barker>Towles. That's how so. I don't know how you can say that without seeing Barker play an NCAA game. PT overall had a very good year. Down the stretch he struggle because I think he lost confidence in his OLine and was afraid stay in the pocket and make throws, which he did at the begging in of the year. Two, he got pretty banged up in the first drive of the UT game which I think had a lasting impact on the UL game. Now in saying that, I do believe it should, and will be an open competition at QB this spring, and if Barker wins it, then this program will be in very good shape. But if PT wins it the program still will be in very good shape. This new variation of the Air Raid goes more vertical than Neals version, which I really think PT will fit better in.

December 19, 201411 yr He didn't call plays at WVU. I hope it is a good hire, WVU isn't sweating this at all though.
December 19, 201411 yr He didn't call plays at WVU. I hope it is a good hire, WVU isn't sweating this at all though. Where did you hear that from? One of the college sites claims he called around 75% of the plays. Truthfully none of us would know who called the plays, since I doubt any of us on bgp coach at wvu. That said, I believe it is a good hire. Whether he called the plays or not, he still knows the offense.
December 19, 201411 yr Will Dawson effect the playing time of certain WR / RB or is that Stoops decisions? Like the depth chart/rotation?

Had nothing but praise about him, says he knows DH's system, is a solid but not great recruiter, and that they will lose some recruits over him getting the job.
December 19, 201411 yr Good hire but not a homerun. Out of curiosity what would have been a homerun? This question is for anyone not just John Anthony. I ask because I have seen that mentioned many times by fans and I'm not sure who they were expecting.
December 19, 201411 yr He will tell you what a homerun is when Meyer hires his OC, because we all know that will be a homerun for sure.

He is the up and coming young gun who will have his own team in 5 years.
December 19, 201411 yr He will tell you what a homerun is when Meyer hires his OC' date=' because we all know that will be a homerun for sure.[/quote'] It would be nice to talk college football without you constantly thinking of OSU, I get it that's who you consider the brand and model but let it go for once.
December 19, 201411 yr Riley was the sexy name out there. He is the up and coming young gun who will have his own team in 5 years. Sonny Dykes was an up and coming when Stoops was hired. I'm just not sure what makes the OC at ECU such a homerun. Personally I think Dawson has a much deeper background. Who knows what the future holds but I find it interesting that Lincoln Riley is such a sexy hire. Honestly, I would say 90% of the people had never heard of him prior to Brown's resignation.

Being able to discuss college football while excluding condescending and pompous attitudes who take every opportunity to take cheap shots at other programs. That would be nice. Take your own words and let it go for once.

Take your own words and let it go for once. Once again you are the one who mentioned OSU in this thread then play the victim role afterward because someone said it's only a "good" hire. Most people don't define "good" as a bad thing, certainly not condescending or in any matter that would suggest a pompous attitude, but you are gonna spin your way as all the UK people do who focus on OSU. How about we move on with the fact that I said it is a good hire for UK? Edited December 19, 201411 yr by John Anthony
