LOOGY
Good news is 25 million has been cleared so far. At least they are trying
LRCW
DeSclafani 6th round RHP with a 1.364 whip in his first minor league season. Wallach 5th round C out of Fullerton last year. LOVE Wallach! Can he play 3B or LF? It looks like he can swing the bat.
98NCCalum
From Lance: Projected savings $25.7M ..Broxton, Heisey, Latos, Simon they better do something with it! (cough cough sign Cueto! )
MJAlltheWay24
Really going to miss Latos as a Red.
98NCCalum
Don't know these prospects, so it would be dumb to judge off of that. But I will miss Latos. I think he's going to be a stud for a long time!
formerkywrestler
Descantspellhisname will probably end up as an ok arm in the pen. Wallach isn't all that good and is in the low minors. For a 2/3 pitcher. I'll take it all day long.
HammerTime
I really liked Latos. Hope he can stay healthy. If he does he should have a great year.

He didn't have great numbers throwing out base stealers but that could be a product of working with young pitchers. He's listed as 6'3" 210 lbs so his build would suggest he could learn to play another position.

AverageJoesGym
Descantspellhisname will probably end up as an ok arm in the pen. Wallach isn't very good. For a 2/3 pitcher. I'll take it all day long. He hit .322 with a .431 OBP at 2 levels of A ball last year. He made the Sally League All-Star team. I'd think it would be a little bit early to say he's not very good. hja1224
Saw on twitter that one talent evaluator says he would have traded Descalfani for Latos, straight up!!

Capernicus41
Latos and his elbow seemed to be a big concern. I think the Reds had some deals in place or at least in the process that were derailed because of his health. I was expecting a bigger return, but my guess is the Reds were getting the best they could for a guy who is trending toward TJ in the next year or two.
