Love to see the baseball player Ethan making some big plays on the gridiron! Again, Congrats to Dixie on a record year.

Just remember that you are the best team Dixie has ever put on the field and everyone in northern Kentucky is proud of this team!

Didn't Bryan Station do it a few years back?

I thought T was the only school to do so.

I thought T was the only school to do so.

Station didn't win a title in football anytime recently.

Trinity did it a few years ago. only one.
The same school year!

Why didn't Dixie play ANY reserves once Trinity made wholesale personel changes? A 94-yard TD pass versus Trinity second team. That's going to bring a scholly offer to Moore? Garbage time rushing yards versus Trinity second, third and fourth string? Onside kick with running clock? Really? 62 players and 2/3rds didn't play? Enjoy 5A.

Congrats Rocks!!! I'm officially a former Trinity State Champ who is now the Father of a Trinity State Champ!!! Unbelievable... Congrats to Dixie Heights on a great season, your QB is one Helluva competitor, fought till the end, nothing to hang your hats about.

Litkenhous was 6 for 6 in predicting winners this weekend.

Finally made it home. Trinity was just on another level athletically. Dixie just couldn't get off the field defensively. Offensively, they could move the ball as they had 4 drives stalled in the first half by their own doings. 3 dropped 1st down passes, and a bad throw on a 4th and goal.

As for why they didn't sub, I'm assuming Brossart wanted those seniors to finish the game. They're a special group as most of them started as sophomores. They've taken their beatings over the years, and all have improved drastically during those 3 years. IMO, they earned the right to finish the game.

Your team just won a state championship and youre going to complain about that? Is it really that big of a deal to you that Dixie scored a late touchdown with their starters still in? They made the state championship and after a rough game, they got to have one more positive moment to end their season and some of the players careers. Just let it go.

Congrats to Trinity on another championship and congrats to Dixie on a great season and a state runner up finish. That is a great accomplishment for both schools.

I have no problem w/ Dixie doing whatever they chose to do, your QB is a warrior, much respect to him, Congrats on a Great season

It all starts up front. Trinity's lines were better. Their front 7 clogged up the middle. Dixie's QB had to go outside. It seems there were always 1 or 2 defenders in his face all night, although he was quite adept in eluding them for the most part.....which made him throw on the run. He looked to have a strong if somewhat erratic arm. As the TV guys said, you could see the Colonels become "deflated" as T jumped on them early and hard. Dixie Heights has talent. On another night or earlier in the season, who knows what would have happened? This is one of Beatty's better coaching jobs. Contrary to popular belief Trinity is not loaded with D-1 talent....have (many) good players, not great, with a lot of heart and willingness to improve by being coachable, for example, the QB Young.

I am trying to remember, do any seniors on the roster have any DI offers? I know people kept referencing athletes in the update thread (which is honestly a first this season), but outside of a few solid players and Donald Brooks I didn't think there was any serious standouts this season. Well outside of the defense. That is a solid unit.

I think Canon Jackson, Safety, is the only one w/ an offer, Austin Peay, & he just recently became healthy, was out most of the year w/ injuries
