Highlands has 496 enrolled 9-12

This tread is about Dixie and Trinity!

I don't think Johnny Utah is a Highlands fan. If I'm wrong somebody will correct me.

Congrats to T and D. for their accomplishments. (Are we back on topic now?)

Thats just silly. Trinity likes to throw the ball. Moore is a one dimensional QB. He would have been a wide out for Trinity

I agree.

Moore would make a great addition to any high school football team but no way he starts at QB for Trinity this year. It's not even close.

I must recognize the performance by the Trinity offensive line! Three juniors (Karem, Hiestand, Colvin) and two seniors (Tipton, English) along with senior tight end DelVisco jelled at the right time. I was privileged to witness many of the post season practices and they simply got better and better each week. SR QB Ryan Young was protected and his statistics reflect that, especially in the playoffs. The wideouts were mainly juniors (Jones, Burns, Biddix, Carrico) and junior #34 Jailen Reed will be a capable replacement for senior #19 Donald Brooks at tailback. Brooks also improved greatly from beginning to end.

The DBs settled in nicely once healthy. The injured Reynolds (JR) will probably replace the graduating Jackson. SR LBs Ervin and Berger played very well and junior returnees Lowe and Lococo will be big contributors next fall. JR Foos will lead the d-line as underclassmen will fill the spaces occupied by seniors King, Johnson, and Corolla. The second season with the defensive staff should be a thing of beauty.

Varsity Football Banquet is January 11 at the Galt House. $30.00 is the admission charge and tickets are available at the athletic office.

The freshmen already held their banquet.

I can't even imagine how proud you must be!

That is darn good! I can't believe I ever doubted him early on.

Seems he's been doubted his entire high school career & all he ever did when called upon was come through in the clutch & win. What a way to finish it out, MVP of the championship game & a state ring to boot! GO ROCKS!!

And let me add he's an all around classy young man.
