His statement provides a strong visual. Do you believe him?

While I would agree that falsely accusing someone of rape is despicable, I would take issue with the statement that it is as vicious as rape itself.

Jameis Winston gave her a ride back on his scooter… solid choice.

I tend to agree. Both can certainly ruin lives but one tends to be more violent in nature. Both are dispicable though.

I wonder if we will get to read her statement as well, or do they only put forth the effort to obtain his?

After reading his statement I really want to read her accounts of that night.

Doesn't matter what he has writen - no one is willing to believe him because of his on behaviors and the roll the media has played in painting a picture of him. Now is the picture that has been painted to be true? I am not sure, but what I do know is everyone has formed a negative opinion of him including myself that may or may not be deserved.

I feel for him and the girl involved because one of them is not be truthful and it has a major affect no matter who it is.

In these types of cases I actually do not believe anyone. I usually just look to see who can prove what.

I believe him. I don't have a negative opinion of him either.

Understood. To date no one has proven that she was raped that night. I don't mean that towards you. Just speaking on what we know at this point.

I've read both articles. The only issue I have with her is that she says she did not know who Winston was until a month later. I find that hard to believe. Also, both agree that he took her back to her place on a scooter and her place was not far away. Why couldn't she go back (with the police immediately) to where his apartment was and see who was in it? Or could they not have looked for the scooter??

Or was she so drunk that night that she just does not remember where he lived? But she was not drunk enough to know who he was a month later. That part just does not add up to me. I HATE these he said - she said things because there is just no way to know what happened that night. He could be a rapist getting away with it and she is a complete victim OR she could be an opportunist knowing he is famous and soon to be wealthy and is ruining his reputation...no way to know for sure.

Zero percent chance she didn't know who he was. That is 100% a lie, IMO.
