Watched the Williamsburg/Raceland game, and I do feel the Burg is a better team than last year, not impressed overall from what Raceland brought to the table though. Can't say that this year's game will be much closer, as Mayfield took their foot off the gas pretty quickly in last year's romp. Mayfield will jump out quickly like they do in playoff games, and did in last year's championship. 45 to 13 Cards

I agree, I think they are a more scrappy bunch than last years team.

I saw the stats from the Williamsburg and Raceland and Williamsburg ran it real well..The passing game was ok as Raceland kept the best reciever in check all game but allowed a few others some catches..

13-1 is pretty well oiled and the one loss to a Top 5 6A team by 1 point in OT.

They messed up the announcement... he didn't break the record he is still about 7 td's away from jjacksons record.

I'm not saying they are any better or worse than last years team... They are a well-oiled machine this year, I think they rely on more of a gritty approach than last years team. More games this year have been "ugly wins" compared to last year.

Hmm the only ugly wins i can think of are maybe the Murray and Russellville games. Murray plays keep away ball AKA youre going to beat us but youre not going to kill us so thats definitely the reason for the low close score there. And the Russellville game, well we were at their own place, and they are a very solid team. Ugly? Perhaps. But those are two good teams. Other games were just not even close.

Well the PA has got offered multiple jobs for collegiate teams and has announced for the state softball tournaments. He is a very good announcer and does it very well. Sure, he tries and sells the concession stand and funnel cakes, but that's how you get money. Plus he loves his job.

 

We won't fire him. If he leaves, it's because he followed his own self and wanted to leave. Not because Raceland fired him. He is good at what he does, loves what he does, and is an even better guy to be around. Period.
