No, that game was last Friday in Ft Mitchell. We will be facing the 4th best team in 1a.

Looks like all of the cold rain is going to stick around through Saturday. Hopefully it may clear out in the Bowling Green area before the games.

I agree. I was speaking in terms.

Forecast has changed slightly for Saturday in Bowling Green. Was a higher chance of rain for the whole day. It has since changed to a 40% chance of rain in the AM only. So it could possibly move out of the area before kick off, or at least somewhere during the game.

Thank you for the update. I had to set through a rainy one last year. I was hopeful that I wouldn't this time.

Mayfield 35-14.

Williamsburg is very good, that's an understatement. Mayfield is a machine / steam roller. Should Mayfield be able to find an answer for the excellent W-Burg LB Corp them Mayfield wins handily. That's my best analogy, I picked Mayfield to win something like 35-7, W-Burg could very well score more but imo the same result.

I honestly don't think Mayfield will have any problems with Williamsburg. Raceland had an off night in all phases of the game, but they still managed to hold Williamsburg to seven points in the first half and 14 after three quarters. Mayfield is much deeper than Raceland and they have a larger pool of athletes, not to mention the fact that they probably have the best defense in 1A. This is just my opinion, I'm not trying to hate on Williamsburg.

I personally don't think the LB Corp is excellent, they are mediocre at best, nowhere near the one we faced last Friday in Beechwood. Mayfield has faced good lines all season and came up with the win. Williamsburg will be huffing and puffing at the half from having to run all over the place.

I am a Class A football supporter and am very well aware of Mayfield's dominance in the state tourney. So is everyone else!!! But, all this banter about how good y'all are is very distracting. I know several former players from Mayfield that were key players on THEIR state title teams and they were very humble. Williamsburg wins 49-42. Good Luck and Safe Travels.....

Dont kid yourself, W burg scored those kids of points on teams with no winning record. Mayfield isnt one of those teams. Half the passes I saw burg throw against Hazard would get picked against Mayfield.

Not talking about kids trash talking.... Talking about adults... And I know HOW BIG Mayfield is favored. But comments like those you mentioned are all the more reason to root against them. Congrats, you contributed to this year's title game...

Willamsburg may win, ( I doubt it tho), but NO WAY THEY SCORE 49! I'll take that bet.
