They probably outweighed mayfields line by 40-50 pounds a person... And about 2-3 inches

When they aren't being held:sssh:, Mayfield D line does things that are unbelievable on opponents.... the kids are beasts.

Williamsburg will make this game if they cut down on turnovers, and the special teams play well. Mayfield is still too strong.

They will have to play a near perfect game, which is rare, then I still don't think it's enough to knock off Mayfield

Why is the heck did Race not kick a field goal in the first Q, second drive, with the ball at the 10? Seemed like a no brainer that you kick on a 4th and 7

The fact that WB was in a somewhat competitive game with Newport is all I have to go by. Newport lost 2x to New Cath, who while they are in BG this weekend also was pretty much dominated by Beechwood and is a testament to the weak state of 2a. State championship game was Friday night in Ft Mitchell. Barring over confidence, this one is not close.

Hey Mayfield fans, I remember a post about Mayfield's all-time wins mark and was told Mayfield was fairly close to the next team above them. Just curious if that gap might have closed this season as Mayfield has done really well again. It would be pretty cool to tie or go ahead of that next team with a win in the State Championship game. We passed them, it was Mt. Carmel PA, for the #5 spot and now we are barreling down on Washington, Massillon, OH. for the #4 spot. Entering this season Washington had 830 wins and Mayfield had 819. Washington won 7 games moving them to 837. Mayfield has won 13 so far putting us at 832 today and if we win Saturday we will be at 833 just 4 games behind for #4

you always have to take your opponent seriously. Regardless of any past. This is for all the marbles. Cards haven't gotten this far to waltz into this game overconfident. Thankfully Mayfield going 13-1 in a very tough schedule has made these guys salty old veterans.. Mayfield playing lights out football right now.
