I will stand by what I said. For Highlands to only have 2 players on the first team is an absolute joke IMO. Hoge should be first team, no questions asked. Abner is a first team player as well and Dougherty should be the first team kicker.

The more I read this post the more arrogant it sounds.

 

Maybe Highlands players should make up all 1st team positions. Sad thing is you probably haven't seen hardly any of the other players. Your tunnel vision is so predictable.

Why is it arrogant? I happen to totally agree with JOAT. Hoge is the best QB in NKY hands down. Abner has been starting since his sophomore year and is one of the hardest hitters at the safety position you will see. Dougherty is a weapon kicking the ball in the end zone on a regular basis.. Wasn't Abner on the first team last year?

I also said Hige should be 1st team but there are a lot of other players in NKY that are also good and deserving to be on the list that don't have a H on the helmet. I respect others opinions who actually look outside their own team to talk about the best players etc.

As is yours obviously with the way you tout the Cooper kids. Take a chill pill and enjoy your trip to Pulaski County and I will stand by what I said. Do not need your approval of my opinion nor do you need mine for yours.

 

In the end it really does not matter to the kids at Highlands because they are more interested in getting the big prize rather than all of the little individual ones.

I mentioned Armstrong who leads all RBs in rushing. In the same post I also touted Hoge as the best QB in NKY. Do you see a difference there? I talk about players from other teams also. I'm not as biased and that was my point. Your post came across as Highlands only and when you stated earlier that it is all stat based I showed how it wasn't and you still claimed it was.

 

Like I said it's just my opinion on how it came across and of course other Highlands fans agree with you lol.

The list is not numbers based only. I think you could switch the first and second teams and not know the difference.

I've seen both twice. I think what hurts Dougherty is that Highlands doesn't have to kick many field goals. He's only a Jr. and possesses one hell of a strong leg, majority of kickoffs enter the endzone.
