Have you seen any tape on MF? If so, how so they compare to Mount Healthy?

Can you find any other video online of Beechwood other than the NewCath game?

 

I have access to HUDL and have watched Beechwood. The Defense is good not great. They Must pass and pass alot to win. The difference in this game will be the adjustments Mayfields superior coaching staff will make to counter Beechwood.

 

Like I said I take Mayfield in this one. I think the Beechwood hype is mostly folks willing it to happen through hopeful posts. Hoping the positive posts will make it so.

 

Difference is Mayfield will come to Beechwood knowing they can win... Beechwood will be wondering IF they can win given all the history. That combined with coaching superiority will be enough for the Mayfield edge.

This senior class at Mayfield has a ring on both hands so were fine either way. But I like our chances Friday night. Beechwood is no way is quicker than Russleville or more loaded than Caldwell and Mayfield took each down with authority.

Not taking anything away from Beechwood at all. That wasn't what I meant.

As I speak, I am watching the replay of Beechwood vs NewCatch. Theyre running backs are good, definitely there biggest strengths. They are quick out of the backfield and run hard. I think there QB is suspect. Doesnt seem to be accurate on anything farther than 15 yards. Im not too sure about how much Beechwood has thrown the ball in the past so maybe thats why they hold him high in comparison to past QBs because he throws it more. Another thing I am noticing often. NewCath just looks sloppy. Lots of blown assignments bad tackling ect.. This is a rivalry game, right? Maybe thats the reason for the bad play (IMO) from them.

 

Again, everything is my OPINION. I just wanted to get a quick eye test and see for myself some game film. Do they look like something Mayfield cant handle? Not at all.

Update: NewCatch finally turned it on. And I just seen one of their players run through Beechwood as if they were standing still. Thats speed. And we have plenty of speed between Bright and Tyler. Liking our chances more and more as I watch..

No access to full game tape, just highlight reel clips here and there. The thing with Mayfield is they are disciplined and execute - all 11 players on the field. Especially on defense. They really play their scheme very well.

They just lost, but they lost to the best foitball team in Ohio at any class. They've not needed him to take over a game. Lost to the best football team in Ohio and at any class and only by 6??? Whew, Beechwood must be the real deal this year. Or are you saying Mt Healthy jus lost to the best football team in Ohio at any class?
