I wasn't making a statement on whether Anonymous is doing right or wrong, simply on what is being said on Twitter and other outlets.

I didn't say you were.

Almost sounds like he's trying for a national riot.

Maybe he's trying to restart Charles Manson's Helter Skelter plan of a race war to tear the country apart.

The old radicals living their dream is seems at times...

Weatherman (known colloquially as The Weathermen) was a political faction elected in 1968 to lead the radical group Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).

...

the fledgling Weatherman issued a "manifesto" eschewing nonviolence and calling instead for armed opposition to U.S. policies; advocating the overthrow of capitalism; exhorting white radicals to trigger a worldwide revolution by fighting in the streets of the "mother country"; and proclaiming that the time had come to launch a race war against the "white" United States on behalf of the non-white Third World.

Maybe he's trying to restart Charles Manson's Helter Skelter plan of a race war to tear the country apart.

From link above:

At a 1969 "War Council" in Flint, Michigan, Weatherman leader Bernardine Dohrn (currently a law professor at Northwestern University and a Board member of the ACLU) praised the serial murderer Charles Manson and his accomplices: "Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim's stomach. Wild."

Bernardine Dorhn is Bill Ayers wife.

What in the hell do the Weathermen, Bill Ayers, or Bernardine Dorhn have to do with this?

Almost sounds like he's trying for a national riot.

If there's money to be made by him in a national riot, then he's for it. Doesn't matter who might get hurt.

Let's not put Al in the same category as the old time radicals. Agree with them or not, they had a cause. Al's cause is Al.

Follow the discussion from Post #59 then #61 then #64 then #65 then #66

Or In short, Sharpton is trying to organize nation wide protest, was speculated that it looked like he was trying to instigate a national riot...which is what Charles Manson's plan of Helter Skelter was wanting to accomplish (A Race Riot). Then some one commented that some including Ms. Dohrn thought what Manson did was a great thing to do.

You can make what ever leap from there that you want to.

Robbing Banks, killing police officers, bombing the capitol and pentagon... They used their political agenda as a guise to be basically an organized crime ring.

I agree, Al's not in their league...yet!

So it's ok to go riot if a guy is found innocent and a certain group don't agree.

Has a group of whites ever protested in recent yrs over anything similar.

So no verdict yet?

Not really going to be a verdict. Just a decision whether or not to indict him and go to trial.
