Anyone who hides behind the anonymity of an online forum or a nameless email account is not contributing to any "legit discussion". They're just being a cowardly jerk and trying to make life miserable for a coach who is already working much harder than they are to productively contribute to the success of a sports team.

In fairness, the coach from Johnson Central probably wins that award. He may deserve it sometimes, but nonetheless.........

I think tark is referring to heat from "fans" of their own school. I don't see JC fans putting up threads like this about Matney or even post negative comments about him. I agree with tark's post.

 

Threads like this are just silly. If I am the CCH AD and a "fan" or "fans" came into my office or contacted me trying to get rid of Wirth, I would quickly tell them to leave and keep on walking. No program needs these "fans". CCH has suffered injuries to several key performers, including their two top QB's that required a WR to play QB; they go on a 5 game winning streak; they beat one of the top ranked 4A teams in the state on the road and are playing in the regional final ... and then this thread shows up. Is there anything more silly?

To be fare, the person above does have a point about some sort of. "Discussions". I recall about 5-6 weeks ago a couple of people, myself included, mentioned some were upset over two incidents involving the team. Some on here denied that such things happened, while some others, and well respected posters on here, said that the events did in fact happen.

 

I haven't heard anything about it in about 3-4 weeks, but I have been a bit busy and haven't been out too much to hear anything, if there is anything to be heard.

True or not the only reason to bring this up is to stir the pot. And the only reason to bring it up this week is to distract the. Team from its task. Unhappy colonel you are not a colonel at all. I quote the fight song.
