November 14, 201411 yr And for the record, I didn't have a HUGE problem with President Bush until Iraq. I objected vehemently to our handling of things post 9/11. But while I didn't agree lockstep with him, I could live with his administration. However, if we are talking about lies, I personally feel the Bush administration lied to us about Iraq, and it has cost American lives, destabalized the Middle East and we are inextricably tied to the problems there forever. If AHCA is a "lie", I can certainly live with it in comparison. Always back to Bush. Can you Libs ever debate an Obama debacle without mentioning Bush? It's like a 3rd grader saying "Yeah, but".

The stupid ones are the ones who did not heed those who tried to tell Americans that this was a flawed piece of legislation. Those who is talking about are the ones who accepted this flawed piece of legislation. Pretty much. I've stated multiple times that ACA/ObamaCare doesn't move me at all. Not a factor in my life at all therefore I don't care. And yes, he got caught because he is stupid. They all think this way. Politicians. Academics. The members of the media who couldn't wait to report what he said. They all think we are all stupid.

You guys can't admit Obama has ever made a mistake. I have admitted Obama made mistakes. Even did so in this thread when I said I hope they can make changes to ObamaCare especially after it got rammed into existence. It's not my fault that cons can't get over the fact that I still like Obama after all his mistakes. His lack of transparency, his poor choices for having his cronies on his administration, et cetera, et cetera. I still love that dude and I always will.

November 14, 201411 yr In some topics there is no argument to be made. It was wrong, what more should be said. That does not make the ACHA ineffective or bad. It is an improvement over what we had, which is nothing. Fix it, don't throw it out and then move on. It has not affected me one iota, but has helped an aunt with pre-existing conditions tremendously. That is good enough for me.
