Michigan is surrounded by talent in the surrounding states, if Mark Stoops can recruit Ohio then Michigan can too. Michigan can recruit nationally. Just got a 4* LB commit today from a kid in Maryland.

Michigan traditionalists (i.e. boosters) have been rumored to not want to shift to a spread offense. That would eliminate Mullen as a candidate, if this is true IMO.

He has led expansion projects at Rupp and Commonwealth- he has a resume that would be worth considering. The gig will likely go to a sitting AD. I'm just throwing it out there.
October 31, 201411 yr Author Here are the candidates, serious ones, according to a Michigan Fan Blog: Brad Bates: Bo nominated him as the next Michigan AD. Has the requisite experience at Michigan, and as an AD at BC. Likely that Bates is choice 1 or 1A. Ward Manuel: As with Bates, has a great deal of experience with Michigan, and as AD at Buffalo and UConn. Jeff Long: A good history within the Michigan athletic department, and understands it well. Currently the AD at Arkansas. Has hired Petrino and Bielema. To me, he would appear the favorite. Bob DeCarolis: Spent a long time in the Michigan athletic department and is presently at Oregon State as AD. He hired Mike Riley, who has done well.

That blew up in their face last time 2. Isn't States O a lot like UF's when Tebow was there? That's a version of the spread C. I wanted to join in on the numbering my points and put my own spin on it.
