Ben Zalla is a great 8th grader from Villa. Big kid, real fast, really smart, and very athletic.

Does he play up at Villa?

Yes, he plays high school JV. Ben also dressed for the most recent varsity game and played the final minute.

I know that he at least dresses varsity and according to Riherds Scoreboard, he scored a point on a free throw against Lloyd

Does anyone have any info about St Mary's 8th grade team? Conner is playing them in a tournament at Turkeyfoot and I've never seen them play.

Is there an online schedule for this Tournament?

Not to my knowledge...

Conner plays St. Mary's tomorrow at 1:40. Beechwood plays Gray at 2:50 I believe. Turkeyfoot and Ockerman play each other on Monday I think.

It is a two and out tournament. Conner beat Turkeyfoot on Tuesday and Beechwood beat Ockerman. Gray and St. Mary's had a bye.

Conner should roll over St. Mary's by at least 30 points.

No mention of st joe cold spring in this entire thread. I got a chance to watch my nephew play against highlands today and they totally dominated the birds. I thought st joe played good team d and was patient on offense. St. joe rebounded well and their guard play the is very good.

If you are talking 8th Grade, St. Joe really just has one decent player (Duffy). The team is very similar to St. Mary's. Very on and off team.

Conner wins by 20...

Beechwood surprises Gray and wins by 5. This sets up a Conner vs Beechwood game Friday 4pm @ Turkeyfoot.

Gray plays the winner of Ockerman and Turkeyfoot I believe.

I believe that BW 8th grade beat Conner in an earlier season game. Since it was a non-league game, I am not sure if both teams played at full strength.

Sir, who and when does St. Mary's play next? I believe someone said it was double elimination, correct?
