Trinity travels to Cincinnati on Halloween Night!

Moeller's tight end will exploit Trinity's smaller defensive backs. The game may be close. Turnovers will be decisive. It is Senior Night for the Crusaders. Emotion will be on the side of Moeller. Trinity's playoff fate is sealed. Moeller needs this win to have a shot at earning a home playoff game. I fear this will be the final contest between these two Catholic squads for the few next seasons.

I'd say play the second string and come away heathy for Henderson County. The game means nothing to Trinity.

Moeller wins and by multiple TDs

Moeller has lost 3 of their last 4 games. They are guaranteed a playoff spot. Yes, a win would help them get a home playoff game, but it doesn't guarantee it.

Moeller has almost no running game. They rely almost exclusively on the pass to generate offense. Defensively, they allow over 260 yds/game.

This is a winnable game for Trinity. Best of luck to the Rocks.

S.S. Crusader has taken on a lot of water the last month. Their weaknesses have been exploited. Trinity can win this game, question is how much do the Rocks risk to win it? Full playbook and starters both ways for four quarters, or do they go to the bench if they get down? I don't know.

Game means much more to Moeller. Senior night, Harbin's seeding, etc. I'll take Moeller by 10.

Side note, week 10 games in Kentucky are all but pointless. If I'm coaching, that's my bye week every year. Get the non-district games out of the way, play your district foes, then take this week off.

The mental approach by Trinity will be interesting. NOt sure about how the coaches approach this one. I think the Rocks defense has shown they can slow down about anyone but can the offense score enough to win. End of the season games like this are hard to predict. Hoping both teams come out of this healthy and ready for the playoffs.

Moeller will destroy Trinity...if you don't believe so, just go ask the NKY folks. KY teams have no business playing these near-superhuman teams from Ohio. The idea that a little ol' KY school like Trinity can compete with such incredible coaching, tradition, pageantry, and wealth of thick-ankled Ohio mega-athletes is preposterous.

I guess maybe we had better not go.:isurrender:

Now THAT is funny. I have seen four Ky HS games this year and four OH HS games. I did not notice a difference in ankle thickness between the two states. I will watch for that next time. You are right about the pageantry though. HHS did not invite Elder's band to the game Friday night and because of this, you would have thought HHS was part of ISIS if you read the Elder comments on the Ohio board.

This is not the same Big Moe team of last couple years. Still plenty of talent, but very beatable. Our QB was our best RB the last couple years, and we miss that. Crable is a polished thrower, but other than the Big Jake at TE he is limited in his weapons, and not a running threat at all, in fact as mentioned the entire team struggles to run it. This years team misses the 6'6 safety net at safety they had last year, he's moe wearing scarlet and gray. This is a game Trinity can win, but big question is will they try?

Moeller not facing a must win for a playoff spot but maybe facing a must win for a home game. Although debatable how much that really means to them other than they do not want to end up at St X or at Elder.

The pass defense has been one of Trinity's susceptible areas so that may bode well for Moeller.
