October 20, 201411 yr Bengals should be favored and there probably won't be much movement in the line. The trend for the home team in Bengals games is a huge factor. A division rival always brings out the best in the struggling team or the underdog. Injuries don't move the line unless it's a QB.
October 20, 201411 yr The Ravens have won 5 of 6 including 4 blowouts. Three underachieving weeks in a row for the Bengals is starting to look like a trend rather than an aberration. If I could get a legal bet down, I would take the points and push a large stack in for the Ravens. The exact opposite could have been said after the Bengals first 3 games. The Bengals were hot and playing great football, and coming off a bye. While a team like the Pats had lost against the Dolphins and got blown out against the Chiefs the week before. In the NFL it really does change very quickly. This Bengals team very easily could turn it around, just as quickly as they went from playing good to horrible. As someone else mentioned AJ Green playing will be a big key, especially since I would think Burfict will be out. The Bengals offense will have to have a good game.
October 20, 201411 yr I would not give the Ravens any points and I would have to get more than a TD to take the Bengals. It is a pride game but pride can't get open and pride can't pass block. I hope the Bengals make a better showing and I think they will if the injured players make it back. (Note: That does not apply to Rey M. Better off with him out.)
October 21, 201411 yr Bengals should be favored and there probably won't be much movement in the line. From -3.5 to -1 and it's only Monday. Will get at least to pick-em.
October 21, 201411 yr Playing at home where they have not lost in two years vs a team they beat on the road in week one. I'd say yes the -2.5 line is fair. Cincinnati is currently the 2nd wild card team, a win over BAL and they will be back in first in the division. Of course if the Bengals lose and the Browns and Steelers win, the Bengals find themselves in last place in the division. Amazing how thin the margins are.
October 21, 201411 yr Opened at -3. Now at -1. Typical early week reaction with 63% of the money on Baltimore. Eventually will start to go back the other way. The wise guys love this.
October 21, 201411 yr No way the Bengals should be favored in this game. These two teams are completely different now than they were in week 1.
October 21, 201411 yr As of now, no. Baltimore looks much better since the first week and the Bengals are looking the opposite to say in the least.
October 22, 201411 yr Just to show how big home field advantage is in the NFL, especially in division games.... The 1-6 Jets started as -2 at home against 4-3 Buffalo....it is now NYJ -3 The 2-4 Saints started are -1.5 at home against 5-2 Green Bay....it is still NO -1.5
October 22, 201411 yr Yes this is the ultimate buy low on the Bengals and sell high on the Ravens. Same thing going on in New Orleans this weekend.
