I know its a tad bit early, considering the game is on the 30th, but figured I'd go ahead and get this out there. With both teams on BYE this week, what direction do you think this game will go? UL's defense has been pretty solid, will the bye week provide them with enough time to be ready for the FSU offense?

FSU will win big!

I'd feel better about it if FSU was on short week and Louisville was coming off the bye, but alas, lots of time for each coaching staff to prepare for the other.

Lots of question marks right now, starting with the offensive improvement with Devante Parker returning to the fold. He caught some serious passes but the NC State defense aren't exactly world beaters. Louisville scored 30+ points for the first time in a month though, so that was nice.

Any more information yet on Lorenzo Mauldin? Without him, that's a big hole in the defense. What about Quick? All I ever heard Sunday was that he didn't return due to an "ankle injury". Like I said, lots of questions.

The biggest question mark of all: will Jameis Winston be taking snaps by that point? Lots of time for all sorts of things to happen in that crazy situation with 11 days between games.

At this moment, I'll say FSU by two touchdowns.

Mauldin going down didnt look good the way he was hanging his shoulder. I like watching him play because he flat gets after it!

23-16 FSU.

What makes you think Louisville can keep it that close? Genuinely curious because at this point I don't see it.

I think if FSU UL was playing this weekend UL would have a chance to keep it tight due to FSU having the "hangover" with the big win. But with a week off, that will not be the case........

I think FSU rolls through the rest of the season with blowouts.

Just a feeling that Florida State will play down to its opponent & Louisville will do the opposite. Plus it's in Louisville & that crowd will be in a frenzy.

I don't think FSU is a top 5 program this year, but they still have to lose to prove me that. I'll take FSU 42 UL 21

This FSU can't be compared to last years team. When you look at the weapons they lost on offense (Benjamin, Freeman, Shaw, Wilder Jr, Stork) and what they lost on defense (Joyner, Telvin Smith, Jernigan, Terrence Brooks, Christian Jones and Jacobbi McDaniel) its tough to replace that kind of experience. Granted they returned enough to continue to win and be undefeated up to this point, but I dont think anyone expected them to be as dominant as last years team. I for one didn't just because of the youth at alot of the positions. Now, are they a top 5 team? Absolutley. Until they are knocked off they deserve it. Reigning National Champs plus reigning Heisman winner makes them top 5 by default.

I'll be in atendance for this one.

Gotta go with the Noles 34-17.

I am confident Florida State will win, but it does give me pause that they are playing on the road on a Thursday night. The ACC absolutely loves to do that to the Noles and that has not often been their strength. People usually harp on FSU losing one they shouldn't and several times that was a Thursday night road game that was the one they dropped (NC State in 2010 and Wake Forest in 2007 comes to mind). The fact there is a bye week in between does bode well for FSU's chances.

I don't expect FSU to make the playoffs and I expect them to lose this game.

I hope they win out and win the national championship again but whatever happens happens. I'm good with that.

This team is a different team than last year's team. They keep winning though. That's very impressive.

I feel similar about this game as I did Clemson... I think the defense will do enough to give us a shot for a while, but I don't think the offense will do enough to win. Having Parker back will be a huge help. Absolutely cannot turn the ball over or things could get ugly.

Hope I'm wrong, but I think FSU wins by 2-3 touchdowns...
