I think the person that you quoted has tried to tell you and others more than once that the kid might not play basketball, yet you keep trying to refute that.

 

I'll back Walter up on this one. HUGE surprise if he does not play basketball this year.

I won't go that far. That's a good list of talent. McNeil can certainly be there though.

Should be a good year in NKY for basketball. Campbell County doesn't play NCC or Holmes. They play the rest of the top 10 in this poll. Go Camels!!!

I really like McNeil but even if you weren't being "politically correct" and keeping it in house, I think it'd be tough to replace anyone on the 9th region list with McNeil outside of Hathorn.

 

Ask me next year and McNeil is probably top 5-7 in NKY. I think he is going to have a HUGE sophomore year but right now I can't justify him being on the list.

Where does highlands fit in?

HHS is waiting for the NKy Basketball 11 - 15 rankings to come out next week to make an appearance.:(

 

 

An argument could be made for Highlands in the 9th or 10th slot in the 9th region, but better to wait and see who shows up healthy after the football season concludes before making any predictions.

I love everything about Hathorn, the only issue I have with him and remember I am a Cooper guy so I'm sure I will get bashed by this, but he tends to get in foul trouble pretty quick and an awful lot of time. It's hard to be one of the top players when you are sitting on the bench more than on the court playing a lot of time.

 

I would take S McNeil in his place.
