LSU 41 Kentucky 3

Does anyone still want UK in the SEC title game this season?

Absolutely even if it meant a drubbing.

I disagree that the rest of the season will be like last night. Last night is what happens in Death Valley at night. I still like UK's chances against UT and UL

I knew the wildcat would be a flop against these kind of athletes. UK needs to have at least a threat to throw it, LSU brought an extra man in the box every time. Special teams were just awful.

U.K. Was introduced Baton Rouge on a Sat. night. I knew that the Cats would lose but was hoping that it wouldn't had been an embarrassment. As I have said, I hope that U.K. fans didn't think that the losing was over and I hope that people won't get down on this team. Coach Stoops has got things going in the right direction, is just going to take a lot of time. U.K. has very little depth right now.

LSU just dominated both O and D line play, simply over powered the Cats. My opinion is that we will see the main emphasis of Stoops recruiting (especially in the next couple of years) on getting lineman.

#1 Miss. State next week, life for an undermanned Wildcats in the SEC. Even tough I don't like them and think that it's ridiculous for a .500 team to get a bowl game, I hope that U.K. can find a way to get another win in the remainng games. A 6 win, low level bowl game would be a major accomplishment in in just Stoops 2nd year.

I hope that you are right and can see what you're saying. I think that the best chance is vs. UL. Tenn. has a lot of young talent and are really like the Cats in that Jones is building that program with great recruiting.

Yeah I suppose you're right it would be 10 steps forward, regardless if they get blown out or not.

Interesting how quickly LSU went from "terrible" to "a good young team" in the BBN narrative.

I don't remember anyone calling them terrible, not UK fans at least. Some people have said they are a young team, which a lot of their top talent is young. But I believe they start 7-8 upperclassmen on both offense and defence.

Not sure about BBN, but SEVERAL people were calling LSU "terrible" after their earlier performances (particularly at Auburn). Even the Rajin' Cajun James Carville called them terrible on the Tony Kornheiser show.

Just a speed bump in UK's development. FL and SC seemed like better wins than they actually were simply based on who they were / have been in prior years. I think UK has a chance v. UT and if IU can beat MO, UK certainly can. UofL can be beat as well. They have a ton of talent but no killer instinct. I say UK gets at 6th win and heads to Nashville.

Seems some of people that were talking LSU down were doing so to marginalize them if Kentucky was to win, then we would have heard "See LSU wasn't any good either"

So it was LSU fans talking them down? That's understandable considering their fans had high expectations this season. Like I said, I don't know any anyone that was a UK fan calling them terrible. A radio guy based in Louisianna is a bad example imo, I've never even heard of him until now.

Dorian Baker for me has two strikes against him. The air gun incident and now the "fair" block and taunting when you are down 31 points. This is now clearly a pattern of poor judgement on his part. Suspend him for another game and one more incident and bye-bye. We dont need this.

Not ready for prime time players

UK is getting there. Still don't have the horses 1-22 to be in the top of the SEC.

O-Line needs to give Towles more time to throw.

Wildcat only works all of the time if you can throw out of it like Cobb used to. Other than that, stack the middle and wait.

UK will get their 6th win. The 15 extra practices for the bowl will be huge.

I still expect to see a UK/Duke Music City Bowl

Folks the difference in this game was line play. UK got pushed around all night up front. I was suprised that the game was so one sided.

At one point I felt UK had given up maybe that is what happened on the kickoff.

Special teams don't win many games, but they sure can lose a lot of games
