From watching online Moore looked like he was running in fast forward and everyone else was in slow motion. Also it looked like he was running it between the tackles. Wonder how many votes sk loses this week?

I have to give it to SK fans for taking this one on the chin like men. No excuses, just taking it in stride and moving on to next week. The problem is, no one else will for awhile. This thread may get exciting.

SK's linebackers were non-existent. Dixie totally dominated in EVERY PHASE of the game. I watch SK play sometimes and wonder why they NEVER make adjustments on defense. They stay in a three man line on defense, NO MATTER WHAT.

If we take the UK logic, Dixie beats SK, Cov Cath throttled Dixie, Highlands crushed Cov Cath...ergo, no contest between SK and Highlands. Right?

Dixie was impressive tonight.

 

As Drew said in our post game interview, the line play was the biggest difference.

 

They flat out put work in on both sides of the ball.

 

Coach Brossart told me before the season he felt he had two of the best linemen and lines in NKY...smart man.

 

I also liked what I saw from #24 on Dixie's D line...small but was making plays in the backfield all night.

Key play early was #27 for Dixie tackling Powell on what looked like a potential TD run. SK didn't score. Didn't get mo on their side.

I guess the argument for #1 in NKY is over .....heck SK isn't # 1 in Kenton County.....I couldn't resist.....as far as Dixie being # 1.....easy now....would be a fun game but the only beat SK....

SK has been on a downward slide the last month. They are lucky they only have 1 L as of now.

 

Sk still has some very talented skill players but I think the issue is their lines. They have som big boys up front and Olmstead is a stud IMO but I think although they are big, they are slow and now the teams with speed are starting to exploit that.

Ate my crow now having humble pie. Can't wait for the playoffs!
