Not really, you need 3 D linemen that work well with your gap package, they don't have to be animals, but if they hold their own on the line, you can make a 3-5 work. However you can't over blitz it, or it will leave you weak at the second level, tonight showed that.

There were 3 different players that came off the field and slammed their helmets on the ground in the bench area. Not one Coach said a word to them. Heck 3 coaches had their back to one of Dixie's drives they scored on (they weren't instructing another player or talking to a group, what they were doing IDK.)

Drew Moore is an athlete. This just in.

Winkler needs more touches.

Deaton looks more like a DE than a LB.

SK didn't have much of a passing game. Throw it out wide. Throw the deep ball. That's it.

Powell is really good.

 

They blitzed him tight right outside of the DE all night, didn't understand that, why not blitz him from the wide and at least he has a shot for one on one contain if Dixie goes outside. Blitzing tight gets you pinched in, didn't make sense.

Moore had 169 yards on 18 carries.

Zajac had 251 all-purpose yards.

Look just having fun. SK has great kids parents. I know some of them. Dixie was just better tonight.
