Maybe SK should play a few of them big O linemen both ways. Dixie does it worked for them.....

 

SK's D Line did ok, not great, didn't get much pressure in the backfield, but they held their ground, but there is only 3 of them, and when the LB's are blitzing other gaps, it leaves big holes, Dixie found the holes, ran through them, won the game.

SK has been running the 3-5 alot lately. Their starting safety Noble is out. #26 Carter and #37 has been playing a bunch lately.

 

37 is Cornett right (soph). The 3-5 works as long as you don't over blitz, SK over blitzed, it burnt them.

This is part of the reason that I don't like the 3-4 in high school. Very few teams have the d linemen to properly play 3 on 5.

Drew Moore is an athlete. This just in.

Winkler needs more touches.

Deaton looks more like a DE than a LB.

SK didn't have much of a passing game. Throw it out wide. Throw the deep ball. That's it.

Not really, you need 3 D linemen that work well with your gap package, they don't have to be animals, but if they hold their own on the line, you can make a 3-5 work. However you can't over blitz it, or it will leave you weak at the second level, tonight showed that.
