That was brutal to watch. SK moved the ball early but were stalled. Moore is the real deal but eventually he'll have to show he can pass. Very impressed with the Colonels they may have a deep run in them.

Why pass when the team your paying can't stop the run.

You will never gain a ton of yards on every play. The plays Dixie needed Moore got chunks at a time. He was too fast around the edge and yes Ukfan that does in fact happen because of the line. The tackles for Dixie contained SKs ends and allowed Moore to get outside and his speed was too much for SKs LB's on several of this runs.

 

Something else lam that hasn't been mentioned. Dixie shot themselves in the foot several times when they were deep in SK's end or the score could have been worse. Dixie also had a couple huge defensive stops on 4th down when SK was moving the ball.

 

Dixie's defense was as

mich the MVP as Moore was IMO.

 

SK stalled out a few times as well. I agree it could have been worse but SK had chances to score. I thought Dixie's DBs played well.

Key play early was #27 for Dixie tackling Powell on what looked like a potential TD run. SK didn't score. Didn't get mo on their side.

 

I thought Powell was gone when he hit the second level. Turnover on downs, happened way too often while in or close to the redzone.

I will even say their D looked slow. You were right slow of foot. SK I line couldn't get to the sencond level.

SK plays Bullitt Central next and then a by week to fix things and get ready for a deep run in the playoffs.

SK was in the back field several times and Moore would just drop to the grown. So don't be so sure about that Dixie O-line watch the film!

I'm really a big Olmstead fan but I think the lack of speed from the entire line has cost them. The defensive line really got exposed I think the last few weeks. Tonight was the back breaker. You have to hand it to Dixie's coaching staff. That was the perfect offensive game plan. Why throw if they can't stop the play action. Worked to perfection.

I don't think they are as fast as they have been. DH was the epitome of "Strength punishes but Speed kills".
